UNIMAID Disclaimer on Fake Online Platforms Claiming to Be Admission Agents .

The attention of the Management of University of Maiduguri has been drawn to the existence of several fake online platforms and individuals falsely parading themselves as agents or representatives of the University in connection with the ongoing admission processes. Management wishes to categorically state that these claims are fraudulent and perpetrated by scammers who seek to exploit unsuspecting members of the public. The University of Maiduguri has not appointed or authorized any third party, online platform, or individual to act as its agent for admissions.
For the avoidance of doubt, the only recognized and legitimate channel for admission into the University of Maiduguri is through the Office of the Registrar, in strict compliance with the guidelines of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the University’s official admission procedures. Members of the public are therefore strongly advised to disregard such fake platforms, and to desist from engaging with or making any payments to fraudsters operating under the guise of admission agents.
Anyone who deals with these impostors does so strictly at their own risk, as the University will not be held responsible for any loss or damage arising from such illegal transactions. The Management of University of Maiduguri remains committed to a transparent and merit-driven admission process and urges the general public to always verify information through the University’s official communication channels.
