University of Uyo, UNIUYO Important Notice to Final Year Students regarding Examination Retakes.


This is to inform all students and the University Community that the Senate at its 128 meeting held on October 04, 2023 had approved the retake examination for final year students who have failed courses.
LATEST UPDATE: UNIUYO notice on extension of retake exam for final year students with failed courses
Further to our earlier circular referenced: UU/REG/121/VOL.V/71 dated August 06, 2024, this is to inform all students and the University Community that the Vice Chancellor, Professor Nyaudoh Ndaeyo has graciously approved the extension of Retake Examination for final year students who have failed courses. The new date for the Retake Examination will be communicated to you in due course.
All students concerned are directed to note and comply accordingly.
The retake examination is scheduled as follows:
- Registration-6th August, 2024
- Examination—–
Eligibility:
- Only students who have failed courses that are not more than the number of credit hours required per semester are eligible to register.
- The take-off session for the retake examination shall be 2022/2023 academic session.
- In addition, eligible students shall pay the sum of Ten Thousand naira (N10,000) only for each course to be taken and half (12) of the Sundry charges per semester or session into the University’s Account.
Please, note that there shall be neither teaching nor revision exercise prior to the retake examination. Also note that the retake examination shall take place at the same time irrespective of the semester.
All students concerned are directed to note and comply accordingly.
