UNIUYO Merges 2022/2023 & 2023/2024 academic Sessions

University Of Uyo, UNIUYO notice on the commencement of 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 academic years for all undergraduate and postgraduate students.

This is to inform all students and staff of the University that the First Semester of the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 Academic Years commenced on Tuesday, October 03. 2023. Lectures for the First Semester commenced on Tuesday, October 03, 2023.

Students who were admitted through last year’s UTME (2022/2023) and the ones who have just been admitted through this year’s UTME (2023/2024) are jointly resuming on October 03, 2023.

The time-line for the resumption is as follows:

  • Tuesday, October 03, 2023 – Commencement of 1st Semester of 2022/2023 Session for all Students/Registration 
  • Tuesday, October 03, 2023 – Friday, October 20, 2023 > Registration without Penalty (3 Weeks)
  • Monday, October 23, 2023 –  Friday, November 03, 2023 > 
  • Registration with Penalty (2 Weeks)
  • Tuesday, October 03, 2023  – Friday, December 22, 2023 > Lectures for all students (12 Weeks) 
  • Monday, January 15, 2024- Friday, February 02, 2024 – 1st Semester Examinations for all students (3 Weeks)

Students are advised to complete registration processes through the University Portal within the schedule indicated above. Students who fail to register within the approved period would be deemed to have forfeited their studentship and withdrawn voluntarily.

All Faculties and Departments are required to adhere to this notice, please.
