Young Nigerian Gradduate Achieves Remarkable Feat, Breaks 38-Year Record

Cursory: Ifeanyi Agbaeze, a Nigerian graduate, achieved a first-class degree in law from the University of Uyo, making history as the first male student in his department to do so. He thanked God and credited his success to a scholarship from Governor Alex Otti of Abia State.

A Nigerian gentleman achieved a remarkable feat by graduating with a first-class degree in law and shared his inspiring journey online. In a Facebook post, the recent graduate, Ifeanyi Agbaeze, disclosed that he pursued his studies at the University of Uyo.

He proudly stated that he made history as the first male student in his department to attain a first-class degree in law, thus setting a new record.

Agbaeze expressed gratitude to God for guiding him throughout his six-year university journey, which began in the Department of History and International Studies at UNIUYO before he transferred to the esteemed Faculty of Law at the same institution.

He also credited his academic success to the scholarship provided by Alex Otti, who currently serves as the governor of Abia State.

Agbaeze dedicated his achievement to God, Governor Otti, and Mr. Chinedu Ekeke, the former Chairman of the Alex Otti Foundation, and current Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Abia State, for their support in facilitating his education and paving the way for him and other Abia students and youths.

“I dedicate this remarkable achievement, firstly to God, who has stood by, safeguarded, and guided me throughout my 6 years in the University – a journey which I started from the Department of History and International Studies, UNIUYO and later made it to the prestigious Faculty of Law, UNIUYO, He said.

He wrote:

“My acknowledgement won’t be complete without making a copious reference to the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex C. Otti, whose scholarship program put me through school and also Mr. Chinedu Ekeke, the former Chairman of the Alex Otti Foundation and the current Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Abia State; for paving the way for me and fellow Abia students and youths in general.”
