Veritas University assured its cooperation with law enforcement and relevant authorities in their investigations.
He said: “Our attention has been drawn to sensationally misleading reports in a section of the media, quoting unnamed family members of our late student as saying that he was reported stabbed.
“While we at Veritas University extend our deep condolences to the parents and family members of our late student, we want to caution our colleagues in the media to desist from sensational reporting.
