A female student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), who said she is happy with the ongoing ASUU Strike, has been trending on social media.

It can be recalled that ASUU – the Academic Staff Union of Universities, declared a one month warning strike on Monday, February 14.
In a video interview she was asked how she feels about the strike, the young lady said she is happy about it as it’s good news.
On speaking how the strike is good news to her and why she is happy with it, she explained that she is into photography and the strike will give her ample time to focus on honing her craft.
The yet-to-be identified lady further added that no one is serious about school, including the government, so students should find something else to do aside school.
Her words, “Obviously, no one is serious with school in this country, including the government themselves. So, you just have to find something going on for yourself, something that works for you, and school is not it.”

I don’t agree with you. If you can’t combine schooling with your job, then choose one to focus on. You’re the one forcing yourself to do two things at a time when you know you can’t get them right. You need a good counseling.

It’s okay to say the government had a huge role in creating a negative impact for people to believe school isn’t important…. You can’t blame her,
