Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) management announces yuletide holiday for students.
The Academic Board has approved yuletide celebration holiday to Full-Time and Part-Time students of the College.
The Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has announced a review of its Full-Time 2024/2025 academic calendar following a decision by the Academic Board.
According to a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar and dated December 16, 2025, the decision was reached at the Academic Board meeting held on Thursday, December 11, 2025. The reviewed calendar outlines key dates for the Christmas and New Year break, resumption, and second semester examinations
As approved, full-time students are to vacate their hostels for the Christmas and New Year break from December 21, 2025, to January 9, 2026. Students are expected to resume academic activities on January 10, 2026.
Furthermore, the Second Semester Examinations and Computer-Based Tests (CBT) are scheduled to hold from January 19 to January 30, 2026.
The circular was signed by Mrs. E. A. Salako, Deputy Registrar (Academic Board), on behalf of the Registrar. Copies of the notice were forwarded to the Rector, Deputy Rectors (Academic and Administration), Registrar, and the Dean of Student Affairs.
All staff and full-time students are advised to take note of the revised schedule and comply accordingly.
It is the wish of the college management that all students will be safe as they travel back to thier respective destinations.
