During this time, Kwadwo met Dr. Robert Fritz, a General Thoracic Surgeon, who became a mentor and encouraged him to pursue a medical career. Inspired by both Dr. Fritz and his brother’s mobility disability, Kwadwo decided to attend medical school. He began by studying at a community college to build a foundation in chemistry, physics, and biology, and then earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University.
Kwadwo continued his studies at Georgetown University, where he earned both a Medical Certificate and a Doctor of Medicine qualification. He is now a Neurosurgery Resident at Vanderbilt Medical Center in the U.S., successfully achieving his lifelong goal.
