The management of the Zamfara State University, Talata-Mafara (ZAMSUT) has released the registration procedure for the students admitted during the 2025/2026 academic session.

The following are guidelines for undergraduate registration exercise 2025/2026 session:

New undergraduates use the official ZAMSUT student portal at ZAMSUT student portal.

Step by step:

  • Open the portal page.
  • Use the admission number as both user name and password.
  • After login, go to the “Student” tab.
  • Click on the “Generate invoice” link.
  • A Remita invoice will appear for payment of registration fees.
  • Take the Remita invoice to any commercial bank to pay the registration fees.

Payment Verification On The Portal

After payment at the bank, students need to return to the same portal to confirm the payment.

Steps for verification:

  • Login again with the admission number.
  • Go to the “Payment” tab.
  • Click on the “Verify payment” link.
  • Follow the on-screen guide to complete verification.

Visiting The Bursary Department For Files

Once payment has been verified on the portal, students move to the next stage at the university.

The official guide states:

  • Students should go to the Bursary Department at the permanent site.
  • They must take their payment receipts from the bank.
  • At the bursary, they will collect three files and registration forms.

These files and forms are part of the standard undergraduate registration exercise for the 2025/2026 session.

Note: Before leaving home or hostel for any registration visit, students can review this short list based on the official notice:

  • Admission number written clearly
  • Confirmation letter of admission from ZAMSUT
  • Remita invoice printout (if needed)
  • Bank payment receipts for registration fees
  • Any files and forms collected earlier from the bursary
