Sydney Wilson, a 14-year-old student of Spelman College, United States has won the Best Student Award in Biology.


Wilson, who was a student of Wilson Academy in the Lithonia United States, applied to Spelman College at the age of 13 years old, to major in Biology. Thereafter, her father received an email from the school saying that she got accepted.

Wilson was so excited when she heard about her admission “So, he calls me in and he says, ‘Look at the computer!’ So I looked at it, and I just melt,” Wilson excitingly said.
After her first-semester examinations, the young brilliant 14-year-old girl had a 3.76/4.00 GPA in her results and successfully made the Dean’s list as the best student in Biology.
Wilson hopes to one day find a cure to most human illnesses.
