At just 16, Ny’Quasia Brown earned over $1.5 million in scholarships, secured admission to 90 universities, graduated early, and is on track to become a federal defense attorney.

An outstanding 16-year-old student, Ny’Quasia Brown, has achieved an incredible academic milestone—receiving over $1.5 million in scholarships and securing admission to 90 universities across the United States.

Brown graduated from White Oak High School in 2019, a year ahead of schedule, thanks to an accelerated program that allowed her to earn high school credits early and complete her coursework in just three years.

Determined to secure funding for her education, she worked closely with her school counselors for two years, strategically applying for both college admissions and scholarships. Her hard work paid off, earning her $1,543,500 in financial awards from various sources, including:

• People Helping People Scholarship (State Employees Credit Union)

• Jacksonville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

• White Oak High School

• North Carolina University

After receiving multiple offers, Brown ultimately chose North Carolina Central University (NCCU) for her undergraduate studies.

“I’ve always wanted to attend an HBCU. When I started researching, I focused on colleges with strong national rankings where I knew I could receive a great education,” she shared.

Initially planning to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Brown later shifted her focus to Criminal Justice and graduated from NCCU in 2023. Looking ahead, she aspires to become a federal defense attorney, with a mission to bring meaningful change to society.

Her journey serves as an inspiration to young students everywhere, proving that hard work, strategic planning, and determination can open doors to remarkable opportunities.
