Cursory: A Final Year Student of UNIZIK has met him with untimely death on his way to his hometown after he was caught in the middle of a clash between soldiers and unknown gunmen. His death has been confirmed in a statement by the president of his department.
A final-year student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has been killed by a stray bullet in a clash between gunmen and soldiers.
The clash happened at a checkpoint in Ubomiri in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State.
Godson Anumenwe, was a 500L Radiography student, who left Port Harcourt for his hometown on Saturday night, December 31, 2022. Sadly, he met with his untimely death.
The sad news was confirmed in a statement on Monday, 2nd of January, 2023 by The President of the Radiography Students’ Association, Anonde Stephen.
He said: “Until the time of his de@th, he was in the 500 level class waiting to sign out very soon. It’s a very sad loss for all. We sympathize with the bereaved and urge all to remember the family in prayers as we grief and mourn this great loss. Rest easy Godson”.
