Cursory: A Nigerian studying Biomedical Engineering in the United States, has received the prestigious Genetic Toxicology Technical Committee professional development award from the Health and Environmental Sciences Institute (HESI).

Tony Okeke, a young Nigerian man, has achieved the esteemed Genetic Toxicology Technical Committee professional development award in the United States.

Presently pursuing his studies in Biomedical Engineering at Drexel University in Philadelphia, United States, Tony has been acknowledged by the Genetic Toxicology Technical Committee, a non-profit organization, Health and Environmental Sciences Institute (HESI), based in the United States.

This prestigious award recognizes Tony’s remarkable contributions to the field of biomedical engineering and genetic toxicology during his university tenure.

Engaging in various research projects related to genetic toxicology, Tony explored how chemicals or physical agents can impact DNA, leading to mutations, cancer, or other diseases.

The Health and Environmental Sciences Institute (HESI) is dedicated to collaboratively identifying and addressing global health and environmental challenges by engaging scientists from academia, government, industry, clinical practice, research institutes, and NGOs.
