DSUSTECH, Ozoro notice on indecent dressing

This is to inform the University Community, particularly the teaching staff, of the Senate decision at its emergency meeting of December, Wednesday 13th, 2023, which spelt out categories of indecent dressing in the University to include:
- Tattered/Ripped Jeans
- Micro-mini dress by female students
- Tattoo
- Jump tops
- Off-shoulder cloths
- Crazy hair styles of male students
- Earrings for male/cowries for female students
- Coloured hairs
- Hair braiding by male students
- Nose, mouth, eye, extra earring
- Sagging by male students/bump-shorts
- Crazy coloured braids by female students
- Backless clothes by female students
- Transparent wear
- Dreadlocks
Consequently, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oboreh Jacob Snapps, enjoins all teaching staff not to allow any students indecently dressed to take lectures without being asked to leave the lecture hall.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Vice-Chancellor has personally embarked on surprise visits to the lecture halls to ensure maximum compliance by the teaching staff, as anyone found culpable will be sanctioned accordingly.
