Brilliant Nigerian lady, Temitope Ayeobasan has made history as LASU’s first first-class graduate in history and international relations, attributing her success to passion, preparation, and supportive friendships despite initial challenges.
Temitope Ayeobasan, a 21-year-old Nigerian student, has made history as the first person to graduate with a first-class degree in history and international relations at Lagos State University (LASU) since the department’s inception 40 years ago.
The department head, Professor Adeyeri Olusegun, praised her resilience, highlighting her exceptional academic journey from 100 level. In an interview, Temitope revealed that she initially intended to study law but grew to love history and committed fully to it.
She credited her success to passion, early preparation, strong friendships, and building a solid academic foundation, despite challenges like back-to-back exams and long classes.
