Oko, Kwara State: Thomas Adewumi University (TAU) is set to host its inaugural convocation ceremony.


The event will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the TAU Auditorium, commencing promptly at 10:00 AM.
Leading up to the main event, a series of activities are planned to celebrate this momentous occasion. These include:
- Community Service: A day dedicated to giving back to the community, with volunteers from TAU visiting the Oko Medical Centre (OMC) on Friday, November 22, 2024.
- Press Conference: A press conference will be held in the Senate Chamber on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 12:00 PM to provide updates on the university’s achievements and future plans.
- Cultural Night: A vibrant cultural night showcasing the diverse cultures of Nigeria will take place at the TAU Auditorium on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 6:30 PM.
- Convocation Thanksgiving Service: A special thanksgiving service will be held at the TAU Chapel of Glory on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
- Chancellor’s Night and TAU Alumni Inauguration: A gala event honoring the Chancellor and inaugurating the TAU Alumni Association will be held at the TAU Cafeteria (East Campus) on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
