FUET Secures NUC Approval for New Academic Programmes.


The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved a comprehensive list of academic programmes for the Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma/Saakpenwa, Ogoni, Rivers State, following a successful resource verification visit by its team of experts.
The approval marks a major milestone in the establishment of the institution and sets the stage for the full take-off of academic activities in September 2025.
According to the NUC, the newly approved programmes cut across six faculties, reflecting the university’s unique focus on environmental sustainability, science, and technology.
