FUDutse Vice Chancellor appoints New Dean, Faculty of Computing

The Vice Chancellor, Federal University Duste has appointed Prof. Sirajo Dean Faculty Of Computing.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ahmad Muhammed Gumel, has approved the appointment of Professor Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu as Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Federal University Dutse, for a period of two years.

In a related development, the VC has also appointed Dr. Mahmud Bala Musa as pioneer Acting Dean, Faculty of Law for a period of one year, Dr. Anas Musa Ismail as Deputy Director, Academic Planning, Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Mohammed as Deputy Director Centre for Entrepreneurship, Dr. Salisu Nasir as Deputy Director, Centre for Gender Studies and Dr. Aliyu Shinkafi Akilu as Deputy Director, Centre for Social and Economic Research for a period of two years each.

Others appointed include Dr. Lawan Mohammed Bulama Head, Department of Mathematics, Dr. Kura Shehu Shuaibu Head, Department of Banking and Finance for a period of two years each and Dr. Ibrahim Akinbo Abdulganiyyu Acting Head, Department of Public and Environmental Health for a period of one year.

In a separate letter signed by the Registrar, Alhaji Abubakar Mijinyawa, the Vice-Chancellor congratulated the appointees on their well-deserved appointment and also prayed to Allah to guide them in discharging their responsibilities.
