IMSU Post UTME Form 2026/2027 is Out [UPDATED]

Imo State University (IMSU) Post UTME and Direct Entry Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session is on sale. Registration Closes On Thursday 25th June 2026.. The cut-off mark is 160. The form cost N2,000. See more details below.

Imo State University, Owerri, hereby announces to the general public, especially its prospective students, that the registration of candidates for the 2026/2027 POST-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise will commence from Monday, 25th May and end Thursday 25th June 2026.

Candidates Eligible to Apply for IMSU Post UTME Form

• Candidates who chose Imo State University, Owerri as their first choice and scored a minimum of 160 in the UTME.
• Candidates who did not choose Imo State University as their first choice university but scored the required cut-off mark may also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB website and change their institution of first choice to Imo State University, Owerri.
• Direct Entry candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree, A’ Level or their equivalents in relevant disciplines and subjects.

• Candidates must ensure that their qualifying results were uploaded to JAMB 

• Candidates whose ‘O’ Level results are being awaited are advised to also upload same to JAMB as soon as the results were released. 

• Candidates that failed to upload their results to JAMB will not be considered for admission.

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES

In addition to the online application, Direct Entry candidates must also ensure that their OND/HND/First Degree transcripts, O’ and A’ Level result(s) or their equivalents are forwarded to the Registrar, Imo State University, Owerri. Any candidate whose transcript is not received by the Registrar will not be considered for Direct Entry admission.

How to Apply for IMSU Post UTME Form.

Payments of N2,000.00 (two thousand Naira) for the Post UTME Screening. Payment can be made via the online payment portal via the following procedure:

• Visit the University website at: https://www.imsuonline.edu.ng and click on 2026/2027 POST-UTME/Direct Entry Application
• Enter your JAMB registration number to check for eligibility if eligible, make payment and fill the form as presented
• Enter correctly, your JAMB Registration Number Only, as your Invoice Number, make payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00), and print receipt 
• Go back to https://imsuonline.edu.ng after 24 hours of completing payment, click on 2026/2027 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Application again to complete the Application form; for easier access, candidates are encouraged to use the IMSU Microfinance Bank
• Present the acknowledgement slip at the PUTME/DE screening venue on the date of the screening examination .

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES In addition to the online application, Direct Entry candidates must also ensure that their OND/HND/First Degree transcripts, ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level result(s) or their equivalents are forwarded to the Registrar, Imo State University. Owerri. 

NOTE:

• Every candidate must provide a valid email address and phone number.
• All applications must be filled and submitted online on or before the closing date.
• Any wrong information given shall disqualify the candidate.
• Portal opens on ­­­­­­­­­­­ Monday , 25th May 2026 and closes on Thursday 25th June 2026..

IMSU Post Utme Screening: IMSU 2026/2027 Post utme modalities will be announced later.
