The management of the Gombe State College of Nursing Sciences popularly known as College of Nursing and Midwifery wishes to inform the general public particularly those seeking for admission into the College that it will commence the online sales of application forms for admission for the 2025/2026 academic session into the following three (3) programmes:
Post Basic Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nursing (Two 2 Years)
- Applicants must be a Registered Male or Female Nurse (RN) or Female Midwife (RM) with current practicing Licence
Post Basic Public Health Nursing [Two (2) Year]
- Applicants must be a Registered Male or Female Nurse (RN) or Female Midwife (RM) with current practicing Licence
ND/HND Nursing [Four (4) Years]

- Applicants must be within the age limit of 16-35 years on admission, physically fit and have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2025 UTME (JAMB) and chosen the College as their 1 and most preferred choice. Must have possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, SAISSCE/NBAIS or NABTEB with at least five (5) Credits (at not more than two (2) sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Candidate(s) presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with any other results. This is because if candidate will use NABTEB, he/she must have all the required five (5) credits in it. Candidates are strongly advised to upload their ‘0’ level result(s) onto the JAMB website (CAPS) at the nearest JAMB Office or JAMB accredited CBT Centre without which such candidate would not be considered for the admission.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

How to Apply for Gombe College of Nursing and Midwifery Admission
All interested applicants should log into the College portal https://portal.consgombe.edu.ng to create account using a valid email and phone number, select a programme and make payment via the designated payment platform using any Bank of choice. Applicants into Post Basic Higher National Diploma (HND) and Post Basic Public Health Nursing programmes are to make payment of a non-refundable fee of TWENTY THOUSAND NAIRA (N20,000:00), while, applicants into ND/HND Nursing are to pay a non-refundable fee of FIVE THOUSAND NAIRA (N5,000:00). All applicants are to note that the payments exclude e-service charges. Also applicants should complete the online application form and upload all required documents, print your application Slip with completed application form after successful registration and return the completed form with two (2) recent passport-size photograph to the ICT Unit of the College immediately.
Applicants must attach the following documents to their completed forms:-
- Two (2) certified recent passport-size photographs.
- Photocopies of all credentials including primary and secondary school certificates/browsed copy of result(s).
- Photocopy of receipt of purchase of form. in.
- Local Government indigene certificate and declaration of age or birth certificate Notification of Registration as Registered Nurse (RN) or Midwife (RM) with current practicing licence.
COMMENCEMENT AND CLOSING DATES FOR THE SALES OF APPLICATION FORMS:
The sales of admission forms will starts on Monday 15th September, 2025 and ends on midnight of Thursday 25 September, 2025. The closing date for the submission of completed application forms is Friday 26 September, 2025. Candidates should note that there will be no extension of date of sales of application forms.
PHYSICAL SCREENING/ORAL INTERVIEW:
i. The physical screening/oral interview will be conducted in the College between Thursday 2 Friday 3 October, 2025.
ii. Applicants into Post Basic Programmes must produce original copies of Notification of Registration as Registered Nurse (RN) or Midwife (RM) with current practicing License.
iii. While applicants into ND/HND Nursing Programme are to note that only ‘0’ level result(s) print-out(s) downloaded directly from the website of the National examination bodies (WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, SAISSCE/NBAIS or NABTEB and originalcredentials will be accepted at the physical screening/oral interview.
