Ambrose Alli University Announces 2023 General Elections Break.

At the Emergency meeting held on Friday, 17th February, 2023 Senate deliberated extensively on the directive of the National Universities Commission (NUC) to close down all Universities for the General Elections.
The Senate noted the directive and approved that non-virtual academic activities in the University be suspended and students vacate the halls of residence with effect from Wednesday, 22 February 2023 to Tuesday, 14th March 2023.
Consequently, students will during the period receive lectures from their homes through the Learning Management System (LMS) while normal administrative activities in the University continue.
The Senate approved that all academic staff compulsorily key into the use of LMS to teach their courses and that there should be no vacuum in teaching and learning during the period under reference.
The Senate further emphasised that only students who have paid their school fees in full will have access to the LMS and that the Continuous Assessment (CA) test shall take place on the LMS.
The purpose of the foregoing is to inform you of the above Senate decisions and be guided accordingly.
