ABSU Convocation Ceremony: Abia State University Uturu, (ABSU) 30th – 32nd Convocation Ceremony Date and Important Notice to ABSU Graduands.
The Vice-Chancellor, Abia State University, Professor Ndukwe J. Okeudo, on behalf of Council and Senate, cordially invites the academia, parents, guardians and well-wishers to the activities marking the 30th & 32nd (combined) Convocation ceremony of the University, for the 2022/2023, 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 sets of graduands.

- Tuesday, 24th March, 2026:
- Vice-Chancellor’s pre-convocation press briefing
- Venue: Senate Chamber
- Time: 11:00am
- Thursday, 26th March, 2026:
- Pre-Convocation Lecture by Professor Bart Nnaji, former Hon. Minister of Power, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Venue: University Auditorium
- Time: 10:00am
- Friday, 27th March, 2026:
- Conferment of First Degrees, Higher Degrees, Presentation of prizes and Honorary Doctorate Degrees

Hiring of Academic Regalia and Payment for Convocation Brochure:
- Higher Degrees: N20,000
- First Degrees: N15,000
Payments can be made at Abia State University Microfinance Bank, Uturu or other designated banks. Issuance of materials begins on Wednesday, 25th March, 2026.
All invited guests should be seated by 9:30am before the arrival of the academic procession.
