Abia State University (ABSU) orientation exercise date, time and venue for the 2024/2025 academic session newly admitted students have been announced.


The Vice-Chancellor, Abia State University, Professor Ndukwe J. Okeudo, has approved slight adjustment in the date for the Orientation programme for fresh students of the University, which was scheduled for Friday, 14th March, 2025.
The Orientation Programme will now hold as follows:
1.Uturu Campus:
- Date:Thursday, 20th March, 2025
- Venue:University Auditorium
- Time:10.00am
Umuahia Location:
- Date:Friday, 21 March, 2025
- Venue:Auditorium, Umuahia location
- Time:10.00am
Fresh Students in the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Agriculture will be at the Umuahia location, while other Fresh Students will hold their programme at Uturu, main campus.
The Orientation programme is mandatory for all regular first year students of the University and should be seated by 9.30am, before the arrival of the Vice-Chancellor.
