ABUTH Community Health Officers Entrance Examination Date 2026 is Out

Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria, Community Health Entrance Examination has been scheduled.

This is to notify all Candidates who applied for admission into Community Health Officers’ Programme, Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria for the 2026/2027 Academic Session that the CBT and screening exercise would hold as follows:

CBT

• DATE: Saturday, 25th July, 2026.
• VENUE: CBT Center, opposite Gymnasium, ABU Main Campus, Zaria
• TIME: 8:30am.

SCREENING EXERCISE

• DATE: 30th July, 2026
• VENUE: Community Health Officers Programme, Training School, ABU Teaching Hospital, Tudun Wada Zaria.
• TIME: 8:30am

REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

ONE YEAR CHO PROGRAMME
Applicants into one (1) year CHO Programme must:-

• Have valid practicing licence.
• Have degree in Health education, Community Health and Public Health from a recognized University/Institution
• Have minimum of 5 Credit passes in SSCE at not more than two (2) sittings; the Subjects must include Mathematics, English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
• Candidate must have 2 years working experience

TWO YEARS CHO PROGRAMME
Applicants into two (2) years CHO Programme

• Have valid practicing licence.
• Have minimum of 5 Credit passes in SSCE at not more than two (2) sittings; the Subject must include Mathematics, English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
• Must have CHEW certificate obtained from a recognized institution.
• Candidate must have 2 years working experience

CBT FEE
Candidates are required to pay the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N2,500.00k) only, excluding charges for remita, NIP transfer, Bank charges, etc as registration fee for the CBT. Payment should be made through Remita at www.remita.net as per the following steps:-

• Select “pay TSA”
• Choose “FGN-Federal Government of Nigeria”
• Pay “Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital”
• Name of service/purpose of payment, select “Student Service Charge”
• Enter amount Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N2,500.00K) excluding charges for remita, NIP transfer, Bank charges, etc.
• Payees details “enter your details”
• Submit and make payment.

NOTE
Any candidate who fails to attend the CBT will not be eligible for admission.
