Benjamin Fenny, a brilliant African scholar, has graduated as the overall best student from the Accra College of Medicine in Ghana, earning eight prestigious awards and completing his medical education on a full scholarship.
Benjamin’s academic journey began with national recognition in 2018 when he won the Ghana National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), securing the NSMQ Accra College of Medicine Scholarship, which funded his seven years of rigorous medical training.
Graduating with a first-class degree, Benjamin received awards including the Accra Medical Centre’s Prize for Overall Best Male Student, the Ken and Angela Ofori-Atta Foundation’s Prize for Best Student in Psychiatry, and Professor George Dugbartey’s Prize for Best Student in Pharmacology.
Additional honors include the Hawkrad Group’s Prize for Best Student in Anaesthesia, Yeboah Hospital’s Prize for Best Student in Community Health, and the Medifem Multi-Specialist Hospital’s Prize for Best Student in Women’s Health, among others.
Benjamin’s achievements highlight his dedication, hard work, and the transformative power of scholarships in supporting exceptional talent.
