Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, identified as David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has urged parents not to withhold spending for their children’s education as he explains the subtle benefit they stand to gain.
The singer made this call during his daughter, Hailey’s fifth birthday party in Atlanta, United States.
According to him, paying better school fees for your children will bring the presence of influential people to their birthdays.
On Instagram, Davido wrote: “Pay better school money nah this kind parents codey show bday …as him gallant me sef gallant.”

In a related story, the singer had rained accolade on Amanda, Hailey’s mother, at the birthday party.
“Mama of the day,” the singer could be heard as he gestured at Amanda who is one of his baby mamas.
This stirred massive reactions in the Nigerian social media space as many accused the singer of being polygamous.
