Ahmad Isa, a former almajiri boy from Kano, has graduated with a Second Class Upper degree in Criminology and Security Studies from Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State. His story is a testament to the power of kindness and unity in Nigeria.
Ahmad’s journey began when he met Mr. Alan Maiyaki, a civil servant from Edo State, who enrolled him in primary school and supported his education. Ahmad’s mother, Halima Isa, is overjoyed that her youngest child is the family’s first graduate.
“I never believed my son would acquire Western education,” she said. Ahmad now runs a tailoring shop in Dutse and has completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Ahmad’s story highlights the impact of compassion and equal opportunities. His benefactor, Mr. Maiyaki, believes in the potential of every Nigerian child. Malam Hassan Yalawawa, Ahmad’s Islamic teacher, says Ahmad’s journey proves that love and understanding can achieve greatness.
