Al-Istiqamah University Post UTME Form 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

Al-Istiqamah University Sumaila (AUSU) Post-UTME Admission Form for 2025/2026 Session is Out.

The Management of Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila wishes to inform the general public, particularly no admissions will be processed beyond this deadline. Consequently, candidates who sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and are in view of the above, all interested in securing admission into the University, that the sale of application forms for the 2025/2026 Academic Session will commence on Friday 18th July, 2025.

Candidates are strongly advised to note that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), at its recent policy meeting, announced that the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal without delay to enable the University process their admissions on time. For further inquiries and application guidelines, candidates are advised to visit the University website or contact the Admission Officer.

Candidates who have not chosen the University and now wish to change to Al-Istiqama University can do so by visiting the nearest JAMB CBT Centre to change their previous choice using Green Card.

All Candidates UTME and Direct Entry Candidates must upload their relevant O’ Level results which must include a minimum of five (5) credits (including English Language, Mathematics and any other three subjects relevant to their proposed course of study) obtained at not more than two sittings, on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila was granted a license to operate as a bonafide and full-fledged private University by the National Universities Commission (NUC) on the 8th of April, 2021.

The University’s Mission is to encourage global study, experiential learning and research, interdisciplinary scholarship, creativity, and entrepreneurial endeavours with the ultimate fear of God.

The University will take off with three (3) faculties consisting of fifteen (15) degree programmes

COURSE DURATION

• Programmes in the Faculties of Arts, Social and Management Sciences, Computer and Computing are of eight semesters.
• The two programmes in the Faculty of Basic Health Sciences, Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science are of a duration of 10 semesters each, while B.Sc. Public Health is eight semesters

Entry Requirements:

• Applicants must posses Five Credits in SSCE/GCE or its equivalent in not more than two sittings in addition to meeting the aforementioned JAMB requirements
• The four programmes (Accounting, Taxation Economics, Entrepreneurship Studies) domiciled in the Faculty of Arts, Social and Management Science require Five Olevel Credits each in Mathematics, English, Economics, Accounting/Financial Accounting and any other social science subject;
• B.A. Islamic Studies requires Five O’level Credits in English IRS/IRK, and any other three arts/social science subjects, O level Credit in Arabic is an added advantage.
• The programmes in the Faculty of Science and Computing and Faculty of Basic Health Science require Five O’level Credits each in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English. O’level credit in Geography will be accepted in place of Biology for B.Sc. Computer and B.Sc. Softwar6 Engineering

How to Apply for Al-Istiqamah University Sumaila

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

• Visit www.ausumaila.edu.ng
• Click “Admission.”
• Select “Online Form.”
• Click “New Application.”
• Enter your First Name, Last Name, Other Name, and Phone Number as Username, then click “Create My Account.”
• Log in with your Phone Number and Password.
• Choose “Degree” as the Application Type, and pay the non-refundable fee of ₦20,300.
• Complete the form, including uploading a passport photo (100-400Kb), then click “Submit.”
• Check your Dashboard weekly for your admission status.
• Wait for the official announcement of the dates for the Physical Screening.

Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila will not entertain any payment outside its stipulated website; applicants should please pay attention.
