Babcock University Matriculation Ceremony Date for 2025/2026 Academic Session has been announced.


The University Administration wishes to inform all fresh undergraduate and postgraduate students, faculty and staff, that the 2025 Matriculation Ceremony has been scheduled as follows:
Matriculation Ceremony Details
Date: Thursday, November 27, 2025
Venue: University Amphitheatre
Time:
- Undergraduates: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
- Postgraduates: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Mandatory Attendance: All fresh students are required to participate in the matriculation ceremony as it marks their formal admission into the University.
- Seating Time: All students must be seated at least one hour before their scheduled ceremony time to allow for proper organization and academic procession.
- Undergraduates seated by 6:00 a.m.
- Postgraduates seated by 9:00 a.m.
- Academic Gown Collection: Students are expected to collect their academic gowns from the Gown Room at Amphitheatre on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am-4pm, and return them immediately after the ceremony. Penalty will apply for late return or damage.
- Parents/Guardians: A designated seating area will be provided for parents and guardians. Everyone is encouraged to arrive early.
- Photography: Official photographers will be available. Personal photography is permitted only in designated areas to avoid disruption.
- Dress Code: Students are advised to dress formally and in accordance with University standards.

All students are expected to have printed copies of their JAMB Admission Letters and confirm with their respective School Officers that their names are on the Matriculation Register.
Please NOTE that without the JAMB Admission Letter, no student’s name will be included on the Matriculation List, and therefore will not participate in the matriculation exercise.
ANY student who did not participate in the matriculation ceremony ceases to be a student of the university.
