Babcock University Reacts to Missing Student Incident

Babcock University has stated that missing student Oladipupo Siwajuola left campus without authorization, criticized his mother’s unfounded social media claims, and affirmed its commitment to due process and student safety as investigations continue.

Babcock University has clarified that Oladipupo Siwajuola, the student recently reported missing, left campus without official clearance. The university’s spokesperson, Joshua Suleiman, stated that the student’s unauthorized departure was unknown to school authorities at the time.

The institution criticized Oladipupo’s mother for making unverified claims on social media, while affirming that the university had actively worked with the police and other stakeholders to locate him. Reports suggest Oladipupo was hiding in Akute, Ogun State, though official confirmation is pending.

Babcock emphasized its strong safety protocols and stated that Oladipupo will face a disciplinary committee for breaching school rules. The university also said it would act on any findings from the ongoing investigation involving other individuals.

The school reiterated its commitment to student safety and due process.
