The Governor of Bauchi State, His Excellency, Bala Mohammed, has approved the revalidation of employment of 1,061 pre-service medical students into the state main Service.


The State’s Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Yahuza, disclosed this in a Press Statement issued on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the state government directed that the true position of the pre-service medical students should be ascertained before the appointment letters would be given to them, adding that this is part of the state government efforts in improving the Health Sector from the grassroot levels and human capital investment in the sector.

The State Governor has also has approved the verification of veterinary students of the ministry of Agriculture for proffer placement into the state’s main civil service.
This according to the government is part of the efforts of the present administration in the state to provide job opportunities to the youth in the state.
