Borno State University, BOSU procedures for registration of new students 2023/2024 Academic Session.


This is to inform the newly admitted students of the Borno State University that the management has released the registration guidelines for the 2023/2024 academic session.
BOSU Registration Procedure For Fresh Students
- Visit the admission office for collection of admission letter.
- Visit your various departments for clearance
- Login to the University portal: https://bususafrecords.com and use your jamb Registration number as username and 20232024 as password.
- You will be directed to change your password Note that your old password is 20232024
- Create your new password.
- Confirm your new password.
- Then click on update password button
- click on Fees, Schedule of payment will be displayed, then click on Proceed to generate RRR invoice. Make payments using ATM card, Remita Checkout Account Transfer, USSD, or Bank branches)
- After your payment is successful. Your ID No. will be generated automatically
- Input your RRR number, then click on verify generated. verification is successful, your ID No will be You will be redirected to your Dashboard as registered student
- Print and present Remita Payment receipt and Online Payment receipt to the Bursary Unit
- Update their Bio data by clicking on the Profile button
- Click on Course Registration button
- To register for First Semester, select the “1st Semester” tab from the top of the screen Select the Core Courses to register then scroll down to select Elective Courses to register. For elective courses, you have to select them by yourself and click on register,
- To register for the Second Semester, select the “2nd Semester tab from the top of the sureen Select the Core Courses to register then scroll down to select Elective Courses to register For elective courses, you have to select them by yourself and click on submit to complete the registration.
- Download and Print the course registration form and present to your various Level coordinators and Examinations and Records unit for signing.
- After registration is completed, you can now have access to apply for hostel. Login to your student’s portal and Click on the “Accommodation”
- Follow the prompt and Reserve Accommodation and make the necessary payment
- Click on the “Print Accommodation Policy” button to download the accommodation policy document to print a copy of the accommodation policy to be submitted to the hostel officer/student affairs staff:
- Submit copies of the below listed documents to your various faculties, Departments and Examination and Records Unit for authentications as duly registered students of Borno State University
- Course registration forms
- Ramita payment receipt and Online Payment receipt
- Photocopies of relevant documents (Admission letter, O’level, A level. Biodata form and Indigene letter)
