At just 22 years old, Sy’rai completed her studies with Summa Cum Laude distinction—an academic honor reserved for students with outstanding academic performance in the U.S.

Brandy proudly celebrated her daughter’s milestone in an emotional Instagram post:
“Sy’rai Iman Smith, Summa Cum Laude Graduate of 2025 — Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Business,” she wrote.
She went on to applaud Sy’rai’s dedication and perseverance, especially as she balanced her academic pursuits with a growing music career.
“I’m so proud of you my girl!! Your journey has been amazing to watch. Your dedication and perseverance I love you so much and all I ask is for you to keep shining and dreaming as big as you can. Love, Mama,” she added.
Sy’rai also celebrated her achievement on her own Instagram page, sharing photos from her graduation shoot. Brandy joined the celebration in the comments once again, writing:
