ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants for admission into the programmes must satisfy the following conditions:

FIVE CREDITS O’LEVEL RESULTS WITH JAMB:

  • a) Applications with JAMB Results are regularly applicable.
  • b) Application with SSCE O’Level or its equivalent (AAICE, MECO or NABTEB) must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects including English and not more than two sittings, and no one than two sittings.

DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION 200 LEVEL

Applicants for admission into the programme must satisfy the following conditions:

  • a) Possession O Recognized Accredited Advanced Level or National Diploma/Higher National Diploma, registrations limited (ND), Diploma Certificates such qualified mainly in most Institution. Aunt Certification diploma rates TERAS, Interim in Intermediate Bourne involved (BGEG’s) Level/graduation event
  • b) Recognised Diploma Certificates in Health Science or Nursing Education such as Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW), etc.
  • c) A’Level registration diploma must have registration with related institutions such as English, Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics
  • d) Diploma applicants for Nursing must have registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • e) Recognised Diploma Certificates in Nursing, Community Health Officer/Health Technician, All the concerned must have registration of five (5) O’Level credits in not more than two sittings including English language.
  • f) Holders of National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies Certificates (NBAIS) can only apply for B.A. Arabic and B.A. Islamic Studies.
  • g) Certificates for B.N.Sc Nursing Science must have all the following:
  • h) Possess and recognized Nursing Diploma, RN plus (RNH), RNHPH, Public Health Nursing registration and earned Master’s SND minimum of five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, if interested.
  • i) You must have registration making registration following and.
  • j) One Candidates who score 5 (five) or below in four UTME subjects UTME results base primary.

How to Apply for BUK Part-Time Degree Admission.

  • An applicant MUST first visit JAMB Online Application Platform for Part-Time Degree Programmes, register, fill out the form, make payment of Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N5,000) of line on JAMB portal, generate JAMB Part-Time application Number, and Print the Slip. The Slip provide the Applicant Number which is to be used, in the second stage of the application process.
  • NOTE: APPLICANTS ATTENTION IN PART-TIME Degree Programme. The applicant doesn’t require UTME. This application requires UTME.
  • This applicant have, payment of Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N5,000) for the JAMB Registration Number.
  • Pay the Application Processing Fee of the sum of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000) (Non-refundable) with a Valid JAMB Part-Time Application Number on Bayero University, Kano website.
  • Visit BUK Portal (www.buk.edu.ng). Check your re-payment status after payment, then generate and print payment receipt at the Payment Procedure Page, if any time that not come Facebook Page.
  • Click on PART-TIME APPLICATION FORM at the Page.

Closing Date: Payment for registration on line starts (Monday, 17 November, 2025 and close PART-TIME on monthly Bases or Payment Closes, Monday, 27 March, 2026 PM to last in lot or payment.
