Lady Celebrates As She Concludes NYSC As a 'Virgin', Hopes Others Will Be Like Her

Cursory: After bragging about staying “clean” throughout her service year, a 20-year-old Nigerian woman sparked a huge backlash. She described how many people did not take her seriously while she pursued her “purity” ambitions. Nigerians who read her account online had varying views on her objective.

A corps member, Justina Dauda, has gone online to celebrate her still being a virgin after concluding the compulsory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.

Recall that Justina had in 2022 celebrated finishing University as a ‘Virgin’, and some persons challenged her to stay so during and after her National Service.

According to Justina, the ridicule she received from people because of her choice helped her to push forward and stay true to her resolve.

In a Facebook post, the lady celebrated God for ending her service year with her body not being deflowered.

Her post fully reads:

Diary of the virgin corper 2023
I came, I saw and I’m coming back
home intact
Those who mocked me gave me the strength to come back home intact A
The 20 years old corper is here to say thank you Lord
