Chrisland University has secured the National Universities Commission, NUC Accreditation for Mass Communication, International Relations and Law.


Chrisland University, Abeokuta, has achieved a major academic milestone again following the approval of accreditation for its Mass Communication and International Relations and Diplomacy programmes, alongside accreditation for its Law programme by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The accreditation was granted after a comprehensive assessment by the NUC, which evaluated the university’s academic standards, staffing, infrastructure, and curriculum. The accreditation status confirms that the Mass Communication, International Relations and Diplomacy and Law programmes have met the commission’s benchmark minimum academic standards’
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oyedunni Sola Arulogun who made the announcement noted that the recognition reflects years of strategic investment in human capital development, learning facilities, and curriculum advancement. She appreciated the Board of Trustees for their commitment and dedication to the growth and advancement of the Institution. She also commended management and members of staff for their dedication and commitment to the success of the exercise. She further described the outcome as a testament to its unwavering commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance.
According to the Vice Chancellor, the accreditation exercise is a peer review mechanism aimed at ensuring quality assurance in all sphere of academic delivery.
Founded in 2015, Chrisland University has continued to expand its programmes while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The latest accreditation results are expected to boost the confidence of parents, students and relevant stakeholders, as well as enhance graduate employability, and further position the university as a center for academic excellence.
