DELSU Notice on Removal of Campaign Posters from University’s Wall

Delta State University, DELSU notice removal of campaign posters and handbills from university walls with immediate effect

The Management of the University had recently discovered with utmost dismay, placement of campaign handbills and posters in most of the walls of the University buildings by the present SUG EXCO and incoming aspirants for the 2024/2025 Students’ Union Government Election.

Management frowns at this unwarranted placement of the campaign papers on our University buildings as it negates the electoral guidelines.

In the light of the above, Management have directed that all posters and handbils of such manners, should be removed immediately within twenty four hours (24hrs) on receipt of the memo. By this directive, defaulters whose names and campaign posters are video snapped after twenty four hours expiration, shall be arraigned before the students’ Disciplinary Committee for appropriate sanction.
