Luthando Mabaso, a young woman from Durban, South Africa, has overcome significant challenges, including losing her mother at a young age and being raised by her impoverished grandmother, to graduate as a Software Engineer.
Despite limited resources and facing discouragement after becoming pregnant during high school, Luthando remained focused on her education, understanding it was her pathway out of poverty.
She excelled in her studies, earning a diploma in Information Technology before securing an internship at a prestigious international bank.
Her hard work culminated in her current role as a Software Engineer at Investec, where she continues to make her grandmother proud.
