This is to inform you that resumption from the Christmas/New Year break earlier scheduled to be on January 11, 2021 is no longer certain due to challenges posed by the 2nd wave of the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.
You will recall that the Kaduna state government directed the closure of schools since December 16, 2020 to reopen at a date to be announced as may be deemed fit or safe. Therefore, Management met and decided thus:
1). Resumption date shall be as directed by the Kaduna state government. However, irrespective of this, all staffs are to resume on January 11, 2021 to enable adequate preparations for 2021 activities.
2). All Lecturers are to begin preparation towards using the e-learning platforms not later than January 18, 2021 to deliver their lectures and assignments should schools remain closed beyond 18th January.
3). For students who are due for practical postings, HoDs are to get in touch with the practice Centres, Facilities or Institutions for clearance and where it is possible, adequate arrangements should be made with the students to have them posted. This will include payment of pending school fees.
4). HoDs and the ICT Officer are to share this information on the respective media platforms as applicable so as reach our students with this information.
Kindly treat as urgent pleas
Thank you.
