- The minister of education Adamu Adamu States that the government has made all efforts to end the ongoing strike.
- He said the government does not know when the strike will end because, the main agenda for the strike has not been resolved.
- He reveals that the government has made an offer to the lecturers which there are willing to uphold should the lecturers accept.


The Minister of Education Adamu Adamu, has recently given fresh information on the ongoing ASUU strike.
In his interview with Channels TV on Wednesday, he revealed that the major issues that will determine whether the strike will be called off or not has not yet been resolved.
The Minister said that one of the major issues is the payment platform which is up to the president to approve, after the committee set up to review the three payment platforms hands in their complete reports.
“The President is actually waiting for the report of the technical committee on the three payment platforms.” He said.
Adamu Adamu further revealed that the government has made a reasonable offer to lecturers ,one that they can easily fulfill should the varsity lecturers decide to accept it.
