Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic has announced that the sale of admission forms for the 2025/2026 academic session will officially close on Wednesday, 31st December 2025.
The management has assured prospective students that there is still an opportunity for those who have not yet secured admission. Candidates are encouraged to take advantage of this final window, emphasizing that “it is better late than never.”

Candidates Eligible to Obtain the PortHarcourt Poly Post UTME Eligibility.
- Admission into the National Diploma Programmes is open to candidates who sat and passed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for 2025/2026 and satisfies the minimum UTME cut off point for specific programmes.
- Applicants may be required to undertake a screening exercise. Applicants will be notified of the date and venue of the screening exercise where applicable.
- Candidates who did not choose, Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic Rumuola, Port Harcourt may also apply as there are very limited opportunities for admissions into ND Programmes for 2024/2025 Academic year. (Such candidates are required to do change of choice to JAMB and make the Institution the first choice.).

SCHOOL OF FINANCIAL STUDIES – Duration: Two (2) years
- Accountancy
- Banking and Finance
GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics and any three (3) subjects relevant to area or discipline of choice.
SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND ADMINISTRATIVE STUDIES: – Duration: Two (2) years
- Business Administration and Management
- Office Technology and Management (Secretarial Administration)
- Marketing
- Public Administration
GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings including English Language, Mathematics and any three (3) subjects relevant to area or discipline of choice from Economics/Commerce, Business Studies, Principles of Accounts, Statistics, Geography, Government, Biology/Agricultural Science, and History/Government etc.
SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY – Duration: Two (2) years
- Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology
- C omputer Engineering Technology
GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and any other subjects relevant to area of discipline of choice.
SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES: – Duration: Two (2) years
- Architectural Technology
- Urban and Regional Planning
- Building Technology
- Surveying and Geo-Informatics
- Transportation Planning and Logistics
GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics and any three (3) subjects in Arts or Science relevant to area or discipline of choice. In addition to the general entry requirements, applicants must obtain one (1) credit pass from any of the following: Further Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Physics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Building Construction, Woodwork, Concreting, Carpentry, Plumbing and Pipe Fitting, Geography, Basic Electronics/ Basic Electricity and Economics.
SCHOOL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY – Duration: Two (2) years
- Agricultural Technology (General Agriculture)
- Statistics
- Computer Science
- Science Laboratory Technology
GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE O/Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics and any three (3) Subjects relevant to area or discipline of choice. In addition to the above, applicants must possess a credit pass in any one (1) of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Economics/Geography, Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Woodwork and Basic Electronics/ Basic Electricity.
SCHOOL OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY – Duration: Two (2) years
- Mass Communication
- Library and Information Science
GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Literature in English and Mathematics and any two (2) subjects relevant to the programme.
How to Apply for Elechi Amadi Poly Post UTME Form.
- Applications for all programmes should be carried out online through the Polytechnic’s Website http://Ceapoly.edu.ng/ or http://ecampus.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng
- Application Form costs Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N2, 500.00) only and Three Hundred Naira (N300.00) only as portal and bank charges respectively.
- All interested candidates are expected to apply online by logging into the Polytechnic’s portal: portharcourtpoly.edu.ng or http://ecampus.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng to make an e-payment. Candidates can make the e-payment by either generating a transaction ID for the fee online and then proceed to any of the designated Banks (Zenith Bank, First Bank, UBA, Fidelity Bank, Sterling Bank, FCMB and Union Bank) to pay, using the Pay Direct option or with an Interswitch enabled Verve or Master Card.
- Please note that all Applicants are required to submit their Application Receipts to the Bursary Department for verification before proceeding to the Admissions Office for submission.
- All Completed online forms must be printed and submitted to the Admissions Office with Confirmed Application Receipts and other supporting documents/credentials not later than Dec 31
