The Federal College of Education, Zaria has received a series of complaints from its NCE graduates who are intending to register for the 2024 Direct Entry that some of them are unable to proceed with the registration and the board has sent them back to the institution, where they graduated from.

It is pertinent to note that, this year’s Direct Entry registration is unlike that of the previous years, where candidates are directly and easily registered at the JAMB state office(s). Over the years, the board has been introducing policies towards sanitising the board.
A candidate’s A’level result (e.g. NCE) is first captured by the board, then uploaded and sent to the institution where the candidate graduated, through the institution’s valid email address. Then the institution where the candidate graduated will verify the validity/genuinity or otherwise of the certificate sent to it by JAMB.
Once the College verifies and certifies the certificate to be genuine, then it sends validation to JAMB, which makes the candidate eligible to proceed and completes the registration at any JAMB state office.
Note: JAMB has to sent a candidate’s certificate before the institution can validate the certificate. Once JAMB sends the certificate, it will take the blink of an eye for the institution to respond.
Wish all candidates a hitchfree registration.
