Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana National Diploma (ND) Programmes in Computer Science and Statistics for the 2020/2021 academic session.


The Federal Polytechnic, Ukana in Essien Udim Udim Local Government Area has announced the sale of admission forms for its National Diploma (ND) programme into the Department of Computer Science and Statistics offered by the School of Applied Sciences.
A release issued, by the Registrar, Dr. Okon Ekanem and made available to Planet News, invites suitably qualified candidates with 5 credit level passes in SSCE, (NECO, WAEC) or GCE who must have scored a minimum of 130 in the 2020/2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, (UTME) to pay the sum of N2,000 for screening at the School Bursary Department on or before the 30th of March, 2021.
Admission requirement for the ND Computer Science programme includes; Five credit level passes in the SSCE, NECO, and GCE O’Level or its equivalent.
Candidates applying for the National Diploma in Statistics must possess Five credit passes in the SSCE, NECO, GCE O Level or its equivalent in Mathematics and English Language and any other three of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Further Mathematics, Statistics, Agricultural Science, Geography and Biology.
Candidates are to pay the sum of (#2,000) for screening, on or before the 30th of March 2021. All payments should be done at the Bursary Department of the polytechnic.
Candidates are to come along with original and photocopies of credentials and a recent passport photograph.
The screening exercise has been scheduled to hold on 30th March 2021 at 10am, at the GNS Hall, Annex Campus.
