FULokoja Notice on Guidelines For Visits to The Office Of The Vice-chancellor

In view of the Vice-Chancellor’s academic and administrative schedule, and in order to ensure that all visitors are attended to promptly, members of the University Community should be kindly informed that the official closing time for the Office of the Vice-Chancellor is 5:00 p.m. daily.
Members of staff, students and other visitors are therefore encouraged to schedule and complete their visits within official working hours. Members of staff, including professors, who may require consultations outside the indicated hours are encouraged to make prior arrangements through the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.
For the convenience of all concerned and to maintain an orderly environment within the Office, the following guidelines are provided:
- Visitors are kindly requested to wait in the designated Waiting area of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office rather than remain in the Secretary’s office.
- External visitor hours are between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., except where prior appointments have been arranged.
These arrangements are intended to promote orderliness, efficiency and proper coordination of official engagements, while ensuring that everyone who visits the Office is attended to in a timely and respectful manner.
The Directorate of Strategic Communication and Corporate Documentation should ensure the circulation of this notice to the University Community for information.
Thank you for your usual cooperation.
Signed
Vice-Chancellor
