A student from the Federal University Of Agriculture Abeokuta International School, Toluwanimi Aboyeji had been named the overall winner of the TeensThink Competition, 2024.


Toluwanimi Aboyeji from Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta International School, Ogun State, has been named the overall winner of the 2024 TeensThink competition.
The fourth edition of the competition, focused on ‘food security,’ featured 15 participants.
Aboyeji’s insightful essay addressed the complexities of food security challenges and proposed innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture in Africa.
Otito Ofolue and Owoeye Ayomide, from Babington Macaulay, Lagos, and Advanced Breed Comprehensive, Lagos, respectively, were the first and second runners-up with equally compelling essays.
The awards included Lenovo laptops, cash prizes, and gift packs to honor the winners’ outstanding achievements.
Aboyeji received N150,000, while Otito Ofolue and Owoeye Ayomide were awarded N100,000 and N70,000, respectively.
These prizes highlight TeensThink’s dedication to academic excellence and its commitment to nurturing young leaders.
Kehinde Olesin, the Convener and Founder of TeensThink, expressed joy in the participants’ achievements, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to equipping teenagers with essential skills and knowledge for navigating global food systems.

Through our comprehensive programs, workshops, and mentorship, we empower young minds to proactively address challenges like food security,” said Olesin.
The event also featured Deina Mayaki, Co-Founder and CEO of Agriarche Ltd., as a special guest.
Mayaki, a prominent agro-entrepreneur, encouraged participants to use technology to drive agricultural adoption across Africa, emphasizing innovation’s critical role in achieving sustainable food security.
Adeboye Adeyemi, Chairman of the Advisory Board at TeensThink, praised the winners for their exceptional contributions.
“Your exceptional work sets a benchmark for others to follow.
Your essays have the potential to spark meaningful conversations, challenge societal norms, and pave the way for a more secure future,” he said.
