IAUE Matriculation Date 2026 Announced [UPDATED]

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) Matriculation Date for the 2024/2025 Session has been announced. The procedure for hiring matriculation gowns has also been announced.

This is to inform the entire University Community and in particular all fresh students admitted in the 2025/2026 academic session that Matriculation Ceremony for this set of students is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 28th February 2026 at 10.00 a.m. prompt. The venue is the University Auditorium, Rumuolumeni Campus.

Accordingly, all fresh students are advised to ensure that they complete all registration formalities.. Matriculation Numbers will be assigned to only those that have duly registered and paid all fees. Matriculating students should pay the sum of N10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) only as cost of hiring of the Matriculation gown. All payments must be made on-Line to Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt.

All fresh students should take notice that:
(a) Any student who fails to complete registration formalities and pay his/her school fees before the closure of the portal.

(b) Only students who present evidence of payment of the gowns will be allowed to sign the Matriculation Register.

All part-time students are requested to collect their Matriculation gowns from the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) at the St. John’s Diobu Campus, but join their various Faculties in the procession and matriculation.

Matriculation marks the end of registration for the academic session. Any student who fails to register before the Matriculation Ceremony will cease to be a student of the University as no registration will be allowed thereafter.

Furthermore, all fresh students who have completed registration and paid school fees, should report at the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre to be captured for identity card (ID) production.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor congratulates all matriculating students.

Please note that failure to abide by these decisions will attract stiff penalty.
