Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) management frowns at compelling students to buy textbooks

The Senate has noted with dismay the attitude of some lecturers who compel students to buy textbooks published by them as a condition to take tests or write examinations.
This notice, therefore, is to inform all lecturers that while Senate is not against the sale of textbooks published by the lecturers, Senate seriously frowns at compelling students to buy textbooks as a condition to write tests or examinations.
Any lecturer engaged in such act will be punished. Please take note and comply accordingly.
