While buttressing the importance of course registration, the Acting Registrar also advised the students to be guided by the academic policies and regulations of the University for a trouble free stay in the institution.

He promised to make available copies of the academic policies and regulations at both the Faculty and Departmental levels for easy access.

Speaking on same subject matter, the Acting Director of IAUE ICT Centre Dr Nathaniel Ojekudo emphasised that without course registration, that the students can not write their examinations.

He added that even if they write, that they won’t get any result.

Dr Ojekudo stressed that the success of their study depends on their ability to register all their courses which they can do at the comfort of their homes with their smart phones.

He gave them a time frame and period of one week grace to register all their courses after which they would cease to be students of the noble institution if they fail.

In his speech, the Deputy Director General Studies (GNS) Unit, Professor Vincent Nyewusira informed the students to also register their GNS courses stating that they will not be able to write their examinations if they do not register their GNS courses.

On his part, the Acting Director Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) Dr Good Wilson urged all CCE students to go to the ICT Centre to obtain exemption letters if they are thirty years and above in age during the time for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme.

He remarked that the Centre is producing proud and serious minded geniuses noting that the best graduating student who recently received one million naira cash award from the University is a CCE graduate.

Dr Wilson reminded the students that the Centre is working towards providing favourable processes and conditions for the period of their study.

The event featured illustrations, trainings and practices on how to register courses online. The forum also provided avenue for the students to ask questions and clarifications on certain issues hinging on their study.
