JAMB EXAM: 7 Key Things to Know as 2019 UTME Begins today.

Sometimes some candidates still fail UTME (JAMB) even though they read very well and covered the jamb syllabus. While analyzing the critical condition, we realized that some jamb candidates are not properly fed with the right information/orientation.
This is exactly why Allschool has compiled 7 seven things all JAMB candidates MUST know or do before the enter the exam hall.
7 Key Things to Know Before you Enter JAMB Exam Hall.
Below are seven important things that will keep you fully prepared and help you ace the examination without hitches.
1. Organise Relevant Documents:Prior to your exam, you should at least print two copies of your JAMB Exam slip. You will be expected to submit one at your exam centre and you can keep the other for future reference. There’s no need to take a pen or pencil along since the exam is computer-based.
2. Visit your exam centre before the D-day:If you’re yet to do this, then hurry now! It will make you familiarize with the centre and help boost confidence on your exam day.
3. Know the JAMB banned items:There are 19 items that are not allowed in the JAMB EXAM Hall. Even if you don’t use these items in the exam hall but enter the hall with it, you will be penalized and your result might not be released. Allschool strongly recommends you keep these items at home. See the list of items banned in JAMB Exam Hall.
4. Plan to arrive early:This year, JAMB warned candidates that they won’t tolerate any form of lateness to the exam hall. By implication, you might be denied the chance to write your exam if you come late to the exam hall. Allschool therefore recommends you get to your exam centre One hour before the time stipulated on your exam slip.
5. Comport yourself:According to MJEducation, from the screening stage to the exam time, ensure you’re at your best manners and avoid unnecessary distractions. Knowing that wrong behaviour might cost you your exam, it is advised you’re focused on your exam and avoid any action that might implicate you.
6. Biometric Verification:This year, JAMB will use biometric verification to avoid impersonation (an act of pretending to be another person for the purpose of writing the exam). Candidates who have a sweaty palms, should take a handkerchief along to dry their hands. For females, avoid drawing decorative paintings such as henna on your palm, as this may hinder the scanner from easily identifying your fingerprints.
7. Pray before and After your Exam:Sometimes, candidates result are not released because their was crises in their exam center. The painful part is that most candidate are innocent, yet they will have to re-write JAMB.
There are many unfortunate unforeseen circumstances that might come up but if you pray to God, it will not happen. Allschool team encourages you to call God and beg him to finalize your efforts. Tell him your heart desires.
