Kaduna State Notice on Enforcement Action Against Unregistered Schools and Schools Without Valid Operating Licenses

Education is fundamental, but the quality of education is equally critical. The Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority (KSSQAA) has tirelessly advocated for adherence to educational standards. Despite these efforts, some school proprietors persist in running unregistered and substandard educational institutions, which compromise educational integrity and exploit unsuspecting parents.
After conducting a detailed school mapping exercise that included GPS tracking, revealing a significant number of illegal schools, KSSQAA is now ready to implement Phase 2 of its enforcement strategy. Schools that fail to register or comply with regulations will face closure and will be reported to relevant legal authorities.
Final Ultimatum:
- All unregistered schools must complete registration with KSSQAA by Friday, 31st January 2025. Non-compliance will result in immediate closure and legal repercussions.
Call to Action:
- For Unregistered School Operators: It’s time to register and standardize your operations to meet the required educational standards.
- For Parents and Stakeholders: Please report any known illegal schools to KSSQAA to help maintain educational quality across the state.
- For Registered Schools: Ensure that your annual operating licenses are renewed on time to avoid any disruptions.
Education is a collective responsibility. We must collaborate to ensure a promising future for our children.
